Bochali

This village above the city of Zakynthos sits on a beautiful hill and offers a marvelous view of the city and the port.

It is a very nice and cheerful place with good cafes and a pretty little church worth the visit. Spiti tou Lata, one of the best restaurants on the island, serves lunch and dinner in that great atmosphere.

The Venetians built the castle you will find right above the village. They finished the construction in 1646. The Winged Lion of Saint Mark, the symbol of the Venetian Empire remains at the main entrance.
