The side of the island facing the Mediterranean Sea includes the best natural wonders in Zakynthos.The scenery is a mix of gorgeous views from cliffs, unique grottos, incredible islets and quiet beaches.If you enjoy driving, romantic little roads (very well kept), take you through villages and hills delighting you with incredible sights. If you take the way through Koiliomenos, you will get to the marvelous rock formation of Karakonisi, which is a pleasant place for a dive. It is also worth visiting Damianos Cave next to Agalas Village. While there, go for a bite to eat at the romantic Damianos Cave Tavern. Wait until you reach your next stop, Mizithres, for a cup of coffee at the Keri Lighthouse Tavern, where you will see the biggest Greek flag hoisted. This place offers one of the most stunning views of the island. You can then end your day watching the sunset at the Keri Lighthouse.
